Up for sale is a vintage FN Browning in 16 Gauge. The barrel is marked “ACIER SPECIAL” which from our research indicates sale for the French market, and denotes “Special Steel”. The receiver is marked Fabrique Nationale D’armes de Guerre Herstal Belgique. There are various markings on the receiver, bolt and barrel as pictured. Serial number of 148xx indicates manufacture in 1912.

Wish I would have been notified it was in stock. This item was added to my favorites but was never notified when it was in stock. Just happened to check and it was available. A little disappointed that the price jumped up when it was available then showing lower again when out of stock.
